Talbott is the founder and Managing Partner of Ottinger Law Group, PLLC, a Nashville, Tennessee boutique law firm concentrating in commercial real estate and business transactional law. He represents individuals and companies with a focus on commercial real estate and business transactions, including corporate structure, entity formation and asset purchases and sales. Talbott regularly advises and assists clients with capital raises, joint ventures, the purchase and sale of real estate, financing and real estate leases.
In addition to handling transactional work, Talbott also acts as outside general counsel to numerous businesses and entrepreneurs in the hospitality, retail and spirits industry. In this role, he assists his clients by advising them on legal issues and business matters, often collaborating with litigators and other attorneys who specialize in various areas of the law.
Beyond his practice, Talbott is an active investor in commercial and hospitality real estate, which gives him a practical, ownership-level perspective on the transactions he handles for clients.
Talbott was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, and attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996. Talbott received his J.D. from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 1999.
Talbott is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and Tennessee.
